DONG-A University Delegation visits SPU

From 22^ndto 26^thof June, Professor JIN BYUNGRAE, Professor LEE JUNGKWAN and Ms. LEE SEONJU fromCollege of Natural Resources and Life Science in DONG-A University led ten students to SPU for students exchange and discussion on further cooperation.

On 22^nd, Cheng Maosheng, Vice President of SPU, met with Professor JIN BYUNGRAE andhis entourage. Mr. Cheng first of all expressed warm welcome to Prof. JIN and briefed the delegation on the south campus of SPU. Cheng Maosheng first acknowledged the fruits of over ten years’ friendly exchange between DAU and SPU: with the students exchange and Sino-Korean academic exchange on molecular pharmacognosy as the medium, the two universities have been endeavoring to promote mutual beneficial friendly exchange, which not only improves the student management and scientific research, but also provides an opportunity for both sides to deepen the exchange. With China and Korea being friendly neighbors, we are sure the two universities will endeavor to make contribution to the development of pharmaceutical education and the development of pharmaceutical science in both countries. Professor JIN expressed gratitude for the welcome from SPU on behalf of DAU. Prof. JIN also noted that the short-term exchange between students from the two universities was mature enough for carrying out long-term exchange. At the meeting, the two sides reached a preliminary consensus on further development of student exchange and mutual recognition of credits. Cheng Maosheng requested that the outcomes of the talks be implemented as soon as possible to benefit both universities. Cai Hongyu, Director of Division of International Communication, attended the meeting.

The DAU student delegation will stay in our school for a month for the exchange activities. SPU has arranged a series of colorful and practical activities for them.
